Welcome to New Testament Baptist Church. We’re so glad you found us on the Web, and we hope you’ll be able to visit us in person. Here is some information to help make your first visit a better one.
Who we are
We are a diverse group in age and ethnicity that God has brought together by His grace. We are committed to expositional preaching, Christ-centered worship, local evangelism, cross-cultural missions, and building up the community of faith. The Bible is our only authority and our everyday focus.
We are at 1235 Old Stonehouse Rd. in Jamesville, NY. Old Stonehouse Rd. is right off of Nottingham Rd on the border of Jamesville and Dewitt.
Our Sunday Service Times
- Sunday School 9:30 AM
- Morning Service 10:30 AM
- Lunch (bring your own & occasional potluck) 12:00 PM
- Afternoon Service 1:00 PM
What is the music like?
We strive to have a mix of hymns and praise choruses that are biblical in content and done well musically. We use a variety of instruments such as piano, guitar, keyboard, and occasionally flute.
What do people wear?
Don’t worry about that! You will find people in everything from casual to business formal and everything in between.
Will I be embarrassed to be a visitor at your church?
Don’t worry about that, either. We won’t make a big deal about you publicly, make you stand up, or embarrass you in any way. Our people will be glad to see you and may come up to welcome you and introduce themselves.
What about my children?
- Nurseries are provided for all our Sunday services. Infants (newborn up to age 2) and Toddlers (2-4yr) are attended by a rotating staff trained and operating under our child-safe program.
- Children’s Church is an optional program for 5-8yr olds during the sermon of our 10:30 AM service. Your children are dismissed just before the sermon and are met in the back of the church by the Children’s Church staff. You pick them up after the service in their classroom.
For help finding where you or your children want to go, one of our greeters will be happy to make sure you find your way to where your children need to be.
What if I have questions?
You will find that our greeters are always ready to answer questions. You will also find our pastor standing in the foyer waiting to talk to you after the 10:30 gathering.
If you have any questions you would like to have answered before you decide to visit, please contact us. We look forward to meeting you.
